Community Emergency Response Team (CERT)

The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) is an opportunity for people from all walks of life to learn valuable basic skills used during disaster response. Some of the skills include fire safety, light search & rescue, team organization, and disaster medical operations. By using the training learned through CERT, new members can assist others in their neighborhood or workplace when professional responders are not immediately available to help.

For more information on upcoming CERT Trainings, email Dave Ulibarri at dulibarri@emcity.org.

The City offers classes quarterly for free.  The FCC exam fee is $35.  To receive details and register, send an email to Ki6oss6365@gmail.com.  We recommend going through the flash cards and practice tests at www.hamstudy.org. The questions are identical to what you will see on the actual exam.
